UBC or UVIC?

If UBC to me is like a gentle elder,
then UVIC to me is like a talent young man.
I'm falling in love with this young man at the first sight,
but I choose the elder who knows what I need.

Both of them are gonna give me the scholarship.
After long week consideration, I decided to choose
what I think I can offer.

Did I make the wrong decision? Who can tell me?
I feel frustrated with it.
